Wai ean mdm will be giving us ATC consent forms and maybe some briefing.

NOTE:
- ALL MUST COME, and including saravanah(spelling wrong, sry :X) from 2/3. Friends who know him, please tell him.
- spread this to rest of npcc squadmates, especially those you know who doesn't have internet.
- It's on thursday, don't forget after all the fun on wednesday!

I changed the blogskin again,
found this very cute lol :X
but i don't know if everyone else feels the same or not,
cos' i really don't know which blogskin to use! D:
if you & a lot of people still don't like this blogskin,
then go to www.blogskin.com,
choose a blogskin frm there and tag on the tagboard with the URL,
then i'll go and change :D

and if yall want some music,
tag in the tagboard with the song title and name of singer,
i'll add in playlists :D

• TDS:

The deadline for ANNEX B has been extended to 18th October!
It's wayyyyyyyyy long and so tk note, BETTER QUALITY IS EXPECTED:D

• Morning PT every wednesday:

There is morning PT this wednesday ~~
Once again, it's optional but it's best to go :D

Some things for ya to take note again! :D
it's a loonnnggg list, but read on okay! :)

• Check Npcc notice board tomorrow.

This is because of Total Defence Silver; due to some criteria not being fufilled, some people will have to redo their work.

For e.g. ,
- cookbook- if the instructions states to make a cookbook, but you have only stapled some paper tgt, there's not enough effort being put into it and you have to redo.
- cub reporter- if you are asked to be a cub reporter and write an article, but you have wrote some short paragraphs, there is not enough information and you have to redo.
- copying/photocopying of work- this one of course must redo lah! This is not allowed, riversidians must have integrity! :DD lol :X

Deadline: 18 October 08' [only for those who need to redo]
Place it in Ms Ong QiuLin's pigeon hole.
take note of the name as there are many 'ms ongs' in the school! :)

The deadline have been extended from 30th Sept to 18th Oct, so better quality is expected! :)

• &for the 4or5 people who have just completed total defence bronze!

TAKE NOTE;
You have to do total defence silver also!
you will have to form a group TOGETHER to do Annex A,
and individually for Annex B.

Deadline for Annex B: 3rd October 08, 1pm.
Place it in Ms Ong QiuLin's pigeon hole.

• For Annex A, the groupwork for TDS, the presentation will be on 15 october [for everyone]

If you are really really unsure of anything about TDS,
ask around npcc squadmates, and if after discussion you are still unsure,
then ask Thomas sir, but only when you are really at a loss for answers.
discuss it with friends about all your doubts, don't repeatedly ask the same questions.

• There is morning pt every wednesday for npcc(all levels). [as said by guoli]

It's optional, but try to go, as only some npcc peeps went for it. Reporting time would be 7am, report in pe and track pants.

as it's exam period now, i'm not so sure if there's any pt this wednesday. will update by tmr or the day after.

Spread these updates about TDS and morning pt to your friends, now that there's website tell everyone about the updates there shouldn't be a reason why we should kenah pumped by this le bah! :X

Hi all,
TWO things for you to take note;

• Total Defence Silver Individual project:

For those who have not handed in their total defence silver project are to bring it TOMORROW and hand it in to thomas sir.

• Design for our squad's unit tee:

If you can come up or wish to come up with designs for our squad's unit tee, you can do so and hand in to waiean mdm by this friday-19th sept, or latest by next monday-22nd sept.

Steps for using a revolver
· Step in front when you are asked to do so.
· Wear ear muffle and safety goggles (if you are not wearing glasses) automatically.
· When told to pick up the revolver and put the third and fourth finger of the left hand in and place your thumb on the cylinder.
· Always point the revolver 45 deg. downwards.
· Load 8 rounds and lock cylinder. Hold the revolver with your right hand and use left hand as a support. Take a general aim.
· Lock your arms and point the revolver 45 deg. downwards.
· When told to fire, aim, press the trigger for the first time, aim and press through all the way down. (first pressure and second pressure)
· When finished, return to the position where the arms are locked and the revolver pointing 45 deg. downwards.
· When asked to show clear, unlock the cylinder and put the third and fourth finger of the left hand in again.
· Hold the revolver upright with the muzzle pointing upwards. Press the ejector rod a few times to clear the cartridges.
· Point the revolver up with the muzzle facing your back. Move your thumb away from the cylinder.
· When ask to report clear, shout “Firer (no.) clear.” Take off your earmuffs and safety goggles before leaving.

Safety Precaution
· Always have the earmuffs and safety goggles on when firing/ shooting.
· Always lock your arms.
· When holding revolver, do not fidget, look straight.
· Always point the revolver 45 deg. downwards when not shooting/ firing.
· Respect the revolver.
· Treat all weapons as if it is loaded.
· Never point at anything or anyone unless you’re about to shoot the target.
· Finger off the trigger guard unless you’re about to shoot the target.
· When there is a problem, always raise non-firing hand.
· Never pick up the weapon when the cylinder is closed.
(highlighted in red- the 3important rules, to be memorised; TNF)

Malfunction Drills
· When there is a malfunction, try again to confirm.
· Place trigger out of trigger guard, point revolver 45deg downwards, and raise non-firing hand. Do not turn around.
· Tell the officers the problem when they approach.
